CYBERJAYA, April 15, 2026 — Xcent.ai, an AI-driven commercial workflow infrastructure platform developed under AxionOne Sdn Bhd, announced the appointment of Azraai Hafiz Azmi as Non-Executive Director (Commercial & Business Governance).
The appointment reflects Xcent.ai’s strategic move to strengthen governance-aligned commercial architecture as the platform expands its role beyond workflow automation into enterprise-ready revenue-participation infrastructure supporting conversational commerce orchestration, pipeline visibility intelligence, and structured automation deployment environments across Southeast Asia.
As organisations transition from fragmented CRM execution models toward AI-orchestrated engagement pipelines, governance at the commercial architecture layer is becoming increasingly critical to ensure scalability, partner alignment, institutional readiness, and long-term monetisation sustainability.
The addition of board-level commercial governance capability positions Xcent.ai to operate not merely as an automation tool environment, but as a deployable infrastructure layer supporting structured revenue activation ecosystems across enterprise and institutional contexts.
Reinforcing Governance at the Intersection of AI and Revenue Workflow Infrastructure
Across Southeast Asia’s rapidly evolving conversational-commerce landscape, automation platforms are increasingly functioning as operational infrastructure rather than auxiliary engagement tools. Businesses adopting WhatsApp-centric engagement models require systems capable of coordinating qualification logic, follow-up sequencing, conversion intelligence tracking, and distributed partner participation under clearly governed deployment pathways.
In his role as Non-Executive Director (Commercial & Business Governance), Azraai will contribute strategic oversight across:
commercial deployment architecture discipline
ecosystem partnership readiness frameworks
institution-aligned automation participation pathways
structured monetisation governance models
pipeline intelligence visibility across multi-channel engagement environments
This governance layer supports Xcent.ai’s progression toward becoming a scalable commercial intelligence infrastructure platform capable of supporting enterprise, institutional, and partner-network automation environments across emerging digital commerce ecosystems.
Governance Experience Across Platform-Scale Commercial Infrastructure and Institutional Ecosystems
Azraai Hafiz Azmi brings more than 16 years of leadership experience designing revenue architecture, distributor ecosystems, digital marketplace platforms, and institution-linked participation infrastructure across Southeast Asia and multiple international markets.
He currently serves as Group Chief Executive Officer of Aha Ventures and Principal Consultant at Aha Consulthink, where he leads commercial transformation initiatives involving ecosystem-scale channel restructuring, pricing architecture reform, CRM visibility strategy deployment, affiliate-commerce infrastructure development, and marketplace participation system design across automotive distribution environments, building-material retail networks, and category-focused digital commerce platforms.
He is the architect of the ADIRA ecosystem (Affiliate-Driven Inclusive Revenue Architecture), a Public–Private Partnership (PPP) structured as a university-governed digital micro-economic infrastructure developed in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). The initiative is designed for deployment across 34 campuses serving approximately 198,600 students and 19,800 staff, with a projected pathway to develop up to 172,000 student digital entrepreneurs nationwide and generate an estimated RM311 million in participation-economy value between 2026 and 2030.
Azraai is also the former co-founder of Marketing in Asia, which he scaled into a multi-country regional strategy and marketing leadership platform operating across nine international markets prior to its acquisition.
In 2018, he represented Malaysia as a strategic speaker at the 2nd ASEAN Crisis Communication Special Meeting, convened under the ASEAN Crisis Communication Workshop (ACCW) framework and coordinated by Tourism Malaysia as part of ASEAN Member State crisis-communication alignment efforts. The session brought together senior representatives from ASEAN National Tourism Organisations (NTOs) across all ASEAN Member States, where he presented Malaysia’s national perspective on digital crisis-response coordination and cross-border strategic communication preparedness within the regional tourism governance environment.
His governance exposure further includes oversight participation across approximately RM32 million in public-sector digital transformation programmes involving edutech and integrated service-platform deployments.
Supporting the Next Phase of Enterprise-Ready AI Commercial Deployment
The integration of governance-level commercial oversight within Xcent.ai reflects a broader strategic priority: ensuring that AI-enabled workflow automation platforms evolve into structured infrastructure layers capable of supporting ecosystem-scale participation rather than remaining isolated productivity tools.
Across Southeast Asia’s digital commerce landscape, where conversational interfaces increasingly function as primary engagement channels, automation platforms must operate within clearly defined participation logic, partner enablement structures, and monetisation-alignment frameworks.
Strengthening governance capability at board level supports this transition toward institutional-grade deployment readiness.
Commenting on the appointment, Azraai Hafiz Azmi said:
AI-enabled workflow platforms are rapidly becoming part of the commercial infrastructure layer shaping how organisations manage engagement pipelines, conversion visibility, and revenue participation environments.
Strengthening governance alongside automation capability ensures these systems scale responsibly while remaining aligned with ecosystem partners, institutional deployment pathways, and long-term monetisation discipline.
I look forward to supporting Xcent.ai as it advances its commercial intelligence infrastructure across the region.
Advancing Governance-Aligned AI Commercial Infrastructure Across Southeast Asia
The appointment signals Xcent.ai’s continued evolution as part of the broader AxionOne Sdn Bhd technology ecosystem supporting intelligent workflow automation environments across emerging enterprise and institutional adoption contexts.
As automation platforms increasingly function as operational layers within regional revenue-participation systems, governance-aligned commercial architecture will remain central to enabling scalable ecosystem collaboration, structured partner integration, and responsible AI-driven growth across Southeast Asia’s next generation of digital commerce infrastructure.
